Experimental Teaching Center

Food Science and Engineering Experimental Teaching Center is consisted of Food Analysis and Testing Laboratory, Food Microbiology Laboratory, Grain and Oil Processing Laboratory, Meat Processing Laboratory, Fruit and Vegetable Processing Laboratory and Fruit and Vegetable Storage & Transportation Laboratory. The experimental center covers an area of 3368 square meters, including an integrated environmental area of 3068 square meters and a Food Analysis and Testing area of 300 square meters. The center has 586 instruments and equipments, including 178 mechanical and electrical equipments, 232 instruments, 10 hygienic instruments, two specimen models and 102 electronic devices. The total asset is more than 10 million RMB.

  In 2010, the Experimental Teaching Center won a 4.9 million special fund from the Construction Project of Key Subjects鈥�Experimental Teaching Centers in Shandong Colleges and Universities, and its construction has been greatly promoted. At present, the Experimental Teaching Center undertakes teaching and research tasks of 1,718 undergraduates as well as 158 graduates and doctors from four majors, which are Food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Grape and Wine Project and Food Quality and Safety Global Business Management.
